The son of Remus and Nymphadora Lupin, Teddy is a Metamorphmagus like his mother (DH25, BLC). He was named for his grandfather Ted Tonks, and is the godson of Harry Potter (DH25). Orphaned in the Battle of Hogwarts (DH33) and raised by his grandmother, Andromeda Tonks, though he often stops by Harry and Ginny Potter’s for dinner. Later becomes romantically involved with Bill and Fleur Weasley’s daughter, Victoire (DH/e). The month of Teddy's birth is calculated using the time period for Lupin's visit to Shell Cottage where told everyone the good news. Harry and his friends left Shell Cottage shortly after Lupin announced Teddy's birth; the Battle of Hogwarts was fought several days later on May 2, 1998 (DH25, YL)." I haven't changed a thing! SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Heterosexual. He was said to have been kissing Victoire Weasley in the Epilogue. PERSONALITY: Teddy has always been a rather confusing person. He is a different person (sometimes quite literally) to different people. To his grandmother, her friends, and a few of his Hogwarts professors Teddy was the boy who wrote letters to the people in the Bible everyday, and was just as sweet, and darling as could be. To his close friends, and schoolmates Teddy was a jokester who impersonated people of authority, and various celebrities. He's very flexible, able to fit into any persona, at almost anytime. He sometimes has a tendency to go off on random bursts of pondering, but always ruins it by saying something funny so people don't think he's weird. He is naturally curious, and is always determined to find answers to things he has no business knowing. He's also a known animal lover, and if he wasn't so busy doing absolutely nothing he would spend his time at animal shelters. FAMILY: Teddy was born to Nymphadora Tonks, and Remus Lupin, who both died less than a month after he was born. He idolizes them, and wrote letters to their graves. He was raised by his grandmother Andromeda Tonks, and godfather Harry Potter. He was named after his mother's father Ted Tonks. PERSONAL HISTORY: Ted Lupin was born in April of 1998, named for his recently deceased grandfather. His parents died shortly after his birth, leaving him orphaned. He grew up with his grandmother, Andromeda. He was raised to be a quiet, intelligent, and religious gentleman, and is often nothing of the sort. He was a troublemaker early on, fooling people to think he was someone else, using his metamorphing powers. He liked playing in dirt, just to annoy his grandmother, and was always bringing home stray, dirty cats, and dogs. Unfortunately the dirt did especially little good for him, as he developed asthma, and various allergies early on. During his school days he was sorted into Gryffindor, and was quickly labeled a class-clown, and a mischief maker. In his years at Hogwarts he made fairly average grades, always having the chance to do his homework in detention. Before fifth year, though, a friend bet him that he couldn't be a rule-abiding, teacher's pet for the whole year, and the bet was a 1,000 galleons. Never one to back down from a challenge, Teddy took the bet. Academically, and behaviorally it was one of his best years. He earned O.W.L.s in all of his classes except one, and shocked his Professors. Of course after he got the 1,000 he returned to his trouble-making ways, going above and beyond to make up for that lost year. In his seventh year he managed to achieve more N.E.W.T.s than expected, and could really go after nearly any occupation he wanted. Overall, he decided that becoming a stand-up comedian was just the thing for him. He did stand-up in Wizarding, and Muggle pubs all across Britain. He dated Victoire Weasley for a good deal of time, and was even planning on asking her to marry him before his untimely death. He died of breathing in too much air pollution, and dust, causing allergies, and an asthma attack simultaneously one afternoon. Teddy was two days from his 25th birthday.
